Even though I don't know a lot about horses, I do know how devastating this injury is to Barbaro and appreciate the effort that's being made by his owners to save him. I feel that it's not just about the money with them but about saving the life of a great horse. My thoughts and prayers are with Barbaro and his human family.

Sent to this journal by my dear friend Denise-

Please hear my humble prayer, O Divine Creator, on behalf of your noble servant creature, " Barbaro", who has blessed us with his beauty, grace and elegance.
His hooves have danced ever so lightly upon the turf and the soil.
His mane and tail jettisoned behind him like vapor trails in the sky.
Please grant this noble creature time to pass on the traits of his magnificentheritage so that we too, may witness again his gravity defying speed, hisrobust love of life and may realize his greatness as one of Your more spectacular creations -the likes of which may not be seen again for a long time.

Signed: Denise
