In beloved memory of our wonderful friend Karlean (Kay- ALVIN1968) Struchen. Kay will be missed greatly by those of us who knew and loved her, and who have had the opportunity to have met and have spent time in chats. email and IMs with this lovely lady. She made some very close friends here on AOL, who also had the joy of meeting her in real life, spending time on the phone with her, and getting to know her well.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, and her lovely cats. She has now joined her beloved "Tar" at the Rainbow Bridge, sharing joy and lots of purrs and love again.

Kay was one in a million. She & I met online more than four years ago and quickly became offline friends as well. She was always there for me no matter what. I can't begin to express how much I miss her but I know she is with Tar and that has given her peace. Kay, you will ALWAYS be remembered, my freind. Rest peacefully with you angels.

Granny Alvin as I knew her for a long time was the most loving and caring person. And Kay know why I call her Granny Alvin. And then meeting Mr. Alvin who has a heart of gold. Smokey Jo and I will miss Kay very much. But I know she will be watching over us. And Kay don't worry Smokey Jo will not go any where. Love you Kay.

Kay i know you are chuckling i had this all written out and hit a wrong button,Kay was a great friend Kay it took awhile to figure out why kay went poof when she was in chat,but her great friend munrkr said when Jim called she didnt want to miss his calls and had her puter set to get his calls ,Kay i know Tar is sitting in your lap right now saying look mom how many love you and we all do kay,love you miss you
I remember meeting Kay for the first time that I went into Feline Fancy and she was going to go to Munrkr's to help her get a cat out of her garage. Munrkr said no you don't have to but Kay insisted and she went to Munrkr's house in the snow and Mun lived about a half hour from Kay. Kay went and helped I will always think of that when I think of Kay. I also remember Kay comeing into the room saying that she had Whiplash and everyone thought that she had gotten hurt ( I could picture the smile on her face) and she said no I didn't get hurt I got a cat and named it Whiplash( whippy for short) these two stories will always bring a smile to my face when I think of Kay. I know now that she is in heaven with her cats that have gone to the bridge and she is at peace. Kay you will surely be missed. Someday we are all going to meet and get reacuanted Can't wait for that day
I only knew Kay as Alvin. She was always so friendly, kind and funny during the chats. I'm so very sorry and saddened to hear of her passing. So often we only hear of our furry ones becoming sick and going to the bridge and its so sad to see one of our own go too. My thoughts and prayers go to her and her family.
HI KaY seems time gets to everyone,i havent forgot you i know Bo is there with you i saw it in a dream the other night,if Trouble is near you can you let him know hes never forgotten,and hes always loved,we talked one night about you being luckier than us ,you know kay your right your with our loved ones and your thier caretakers until we can all meet again,love ya kay

Troubles, I can see Cinders with Kay.. actually.. and am sure that they are all getting together and welcoming each other. I just feel strongly that the "Bridge" is a place where we will all meet and support each other and watch out for our friends here on this Earthplane that will eventually join us too.
