This colt is going to do great things. I can feel it in my bones. What a feisty, handy and athletic kid he is. Enjoy this excellent video, taken when he was a week old.. It filled my heart with so much love and hope.

Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us who are forever linked to our beloved Barbaro.
We will watch this beautiful boy grow into a handsome stallion and pray for him all of the way.
He might not know who his brother is ,but we the FOBS do and of course the excitement and expectations we can't help but feeling about this precious little ones future is beyond description.
I know we are all so grateful for this video (wish we had Barbaro's baby video)especially after this past weekend when all of us celebrated the life and Birthday of a Champion whose legacy will extend beyond the racing world.
Barbaro will be known as the reason the horrible Slaughter of Horses was ended in the United States forever.
His spirit has started a great movement to rescue the lost and abused not only here but in other countries where the great Exceller and Ferdinand met a demeaning and horrid death.
We as FOBS say "NEVER AGAIN"

This little fellow has no idea what huge shoes he is filling. He looks so much like his Champion brother. Grow up strong and fast little guy, your brother will be so proud of you. I can already feel such a strong connection with you.
All I have to say is what a sweet baby!!!!!! Barbaro will be so proud of you and I know he is looking down on you with a smile and a big heart. Christina
What a little beauty he is. My heart broke when Barbaro broke down in the Preakness. As a horsewoman and a Kentuckian, it also breaks my heart that the majority of racehorses die at the hands of slaughterhouses, where they are turned into steak for foreigners to eat. Our family has been involved with racehorse rescue for awhile. Let's pray this wee foal does well on the track so he will not end up like Ferdinand, the KY Derby winner who was slaughtered for human consumption in Japan when they were done using him for stud service.
