The Barbaro Love Vigil Poster- Designed and Made by BostonNickyJane

The Barbaro Love Vigil on AOL has been meeting nightly since July 13th, that very terrible day that Dr. Richardson held a press conference announcing that Barbaro had developed a very serious Laminitis in his left hind hoof.

The country wept for this magnificent brave horse who was now involved in the race for his life. This small group of fans and horse lovers gathered together each night at 7:00 PM to say prayers for Barbaro and the folks who were giving him such incredibly brilliant care. We prayed for a miracle, and at this moment it appears that the miracle is coming to pass. Dr. Richardson does not believe in miracles, but we know better about this aspect of Barbaro's recovery!

Barbaro should be able to leave New Bolton Center in the foreseeable future to continue his recuperation from his injuries.

We wanted to share this really wonderful poster with our readers. The poster next to the featured one was also designed by BostonNickyJane. The second poster, is titled, "The Miracle is the Barbaro Spirit." The one with the tree and stocking is made out of rubber and are "velcroed" to the poster. The Barbaro Love Vigil is displayed on the bottom of both posters in the corners.

The poster was featured on the MSNBC Website with a feature article about Barbaro's recovery. You can read the article here:

Thank you Nicky, for making  it and sending it to New Bolton Center.

Nicky,
What a great job you did!  Guess it caught the eye of more than a few people!  It would be great if these follow Barbaro, wherever they take him - but I'm hoping it won't be too far from the folks he knows and trusts.  Part of his recovery has been due to his patience - and knowing that those around him care for him.  Merry Christmas, one and all!
