A Tribute To Buffy - For Tracie

7/3/91 to 8/29/06

"She was ours from day one.  We were blessed with her companionship & love, her protection, and her beautiful soul for 15 years. Her Papa called her a "grand lady". I like that. "

Tracie
You were very fortunate to have had Buffy for 15 yrs!  She was a beautiful dog!
Maybe she is now keeping Joey company while she waits for you to come home.
Be glad you had her for that long.
Terry
May GOD walk with you Always!

Tracie asked that I post this comment as she is not on AOL or AIM: This is what Tracie wrote:

<<Hi Jo,
Thank you so much for posting Buffy's tribute. She was smiling at me when I took that pic, & I've always loved it.My other furkids are helping me so much. Grey Fern was her little sister, but Buffy treated her like a daughter, she's been sad, but seems to be doing better. My two little ones know that something is amiss, but don't seem to mind all the extra hugs & kisses.

The tribute you posted for Joey & for Mary L are beautiful.
I can't log on to post as I'm not on AOL, so please let everyone know I so appreciate their kind words to me. I know Buffy loves that there are so many people who care about her family.
She's smiling down on all of you now, just as she is us.

God Bless You,
Tracie>>

She is a beautiful dog and when you live with them for so long it makes it all the harder to let go. But we really don't let go do we? They are everywhere in your house heart and mind. Lots of memories and fun times. Buffy is still smiling down at you from Rainbow Bridge with all of the other critters. I know my babies up there will welcome Buffy with all there hearts. Peace be with you Tracie from another animal lover who knows. Christina.

Dear Tracie:  Thank you for sharing with us the love of your Buffy.  Years ago, when I lost a pug, through the fault of the vet, I received a book on grief in dealing with your pet.  It says that some of us are closer to our pets and love them more than family members.  The question was "Where do you bury a pet"  The answer is in your heart and that is where Buffy will be.  These three chichuahua's  I have are like babies to me.  It breaks my heart when someone loses one of theirs, but your days will be easier.  Won't it be wonderful when we all cross that "rainbow bridge" one day and have our beloved pets kissing us uncontrolable?  God blessed you for all those years entrusting one of his loved animals to your care.  linda
